
Waterfront Director Position
Responsible for health safety and welfare of campers on the waterfront. Responsible for directing programs and performing duties associated with waterfront activities.
Responsibilities

Direct and lead swimming tests and programs.

Initiate strict and efficient water safety programs in keeping with the American Camping Association, YMCA, State of Wisconsin and Red Cross requirements.

Design programs to help children learn and improve their skills.

Supervise and train aquatic staff.

Initiate waterfront emergency drills as needed.

Supervise all boating and other on-the-water activities

Establish work schedules of aquatic staff as needed and schedules of waterfront activities.

Maintain all watercraft and equipment in good, working condition. Ensure that all watercraft, motorized and non-motorized meet ACA and State codes. This includes fueling all boat motors with proper gas/oil mixtures.

Schedule and teach lifeguard inservices and other necessary trainings.
