Store Manager Position

Responsible for the administration of the camp store and its needs and is related to the Program Staff concerning their needs for support and assistance. Responsible for requisitioning all store supplies, maintaining and operating the camp store, maintaining camper bank records. 

Responsibilities​​

  • Operate the camp store twice daily for staff and campers in a neat and orderly manner.

  • Maintain camper bank records daily. 

  • Work with the camp’s store suppliers to maintain store inventories.

  • Bring any budgetary problems to the attention of the Camp Administration.

  • Assist the Camp Director with the paper work involved in reports, inventories, etc.  Help prepare for check-in/check-out and store returns.

  • Run camp store during check-in, greeting guests in a warm and friendly manner.

  • Make trips into town when needed.

  • All Program Staff are highly involved with the camper experience throughout their contracted stay at Camp Manitou.  This involves supporting counselors in varying activity areas and evening activities, as well as responsibility for the care and well-being of all campers.

  • Be well acquainted and assist with the camp’s emergency procedures.

  • Other duties that support other program staff areas.

Qualifications- Required​

  • Must have an exemplary driving record

  • Attend and assist in staff training

  • Report for work Tuesday, May 26 at 9am

  • Upon hire, obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification

 

Qualifications- Preferred

  • Recommended to be 21 years of age

  • Lifeguard certification
